How well does your Wi-Fi perform? Did you know that a Wi-Fi survey is essential to the planning and design phase, prior to installation of a wireless network in your premises or location?
Here at NWNSUK we are specialists in providing our clients with a detailed Wi-Fi design using our state-of-the-art equipment.
Our experienced engineers can perform a wireless survey or network analysis, by doing this we can identify any potential sources of interference, or any specific obstacles which can affect your Wi-Fi coverage.
NWNSUK will look at all aspects of your premises, including the current design of your network such as the current internet connection used at your site.
Our survey comes with a detailed heatmap report which will identify any issues with your current network or if in the design phase a full heatmap report outlining specific details which will show the predicted performance of the new network.
We specialise in 4 different types of surveys.
1. Predictive Survey – Carried out virtually, working with plans we can build a 3D model which can provide an accurate visualisation of your requirements.
2. Pre- Deployment (AP on a Stick) – A survey carried out utilising the predictive model, one of our specialists will attend your site, utilising an access point to determine wireless coverage area, signal strengths, and any interference.
3. Passive Survey – This survey consists of an engineer attending the premises utilising state-of-the-art equipment to determine the current Wi-Fi health. This is an essential survey in identifying faults causing bad performance of the Wi-Fi network.
4. Active survey – This survey is a more enhanced passive survey; the engineer will connect to the current network and determine the quality of the network connection at various points around the premises.
